Latvia: Supernova results are in!

Results are in in Latvia. The 10 titles that will go to the final are known now. The final will be held next week. Alessandra Mele wins Melodi Grand Prix 2023

The suspense was building in Trondheim Spektrum, but we have a winner! Alessandra Mele won the whole contest with 283 points. She won the jury vote with 104 points, and the televote with a stunning 179 points landslide. She will represent Norway with “Queen of Kings”. Right before winning MGP, she heard that her song was number 1 in the spotify charts. Not only in Norway, but in a lot of countries her song is a viral succes. Maybe in yours awell! Lithuania: semifinal results are in!

In Lithuania, the semifinal results are in. Out of 10 songs, the best five will head to the final within two weeks. Next week, we will see the second semifinal. Melodifestivalen Semi Final 1 results

Melodifestivalen is back! Tonight’s first show was held in Göteborg, Tonight’s big winner is Tone Sekelius! She participated in Melodifestivalen 2022, and ended up fifth. This year she is back for a hopeful victory! She won with 94 points, and will go directly to the final. Right behind her placing 2nd was Victor Crone! We all know Victor for representing Estonia in 2019. He will go to the Semi Final. Elov & Benny ended third, and will also go to the Semi Final in Örnsköldsvik.

Slovenian Joker Out! presents “Carpe Diem”

photo: primož lukežič Tonight, the Slovenian band Joker Out! presented their Eurovision entry. The song is called “Carpe diem”, as was already revealed in an earlier stage. The song was presented after a show called Misija Liverpool. Joker Out will perform the song in the 2nd half of the 2nd semifinal.

Lithuania: on to the semifinals

Tonight is the night that we go on to the semifinals in Lithuania. In each semifinal, 10 songs will compete, five of them will have a place in the final. The show starts at 20:00 and you can watch it here and on YouTube. Spain: Benidorm Fest final is there!

After two semifinals, we head to the final of Benidorm Fest. Spain is gonna decide which song will go to Eurovision in Liverpool. Last year, Chanel was very succesful for Spain with a third place. Will the new particpant do the trick again? The show will start at 22.00 and you can watch it here. Norway selects: Melodi Grand Prix final

Tonight is the night Norway select it’s song. After three semifinals, it is time for the Melodi Grand Prix final. Out of 9 songs, the Norwegian Eurovision entrant will be chosen. The show starts at 19.50 and you can watch it here. These are the 9 songs: 1 Jone Ekko inni meg 2 Eline Thorp Not meant to be 3 Skrellex Love again 4 Ulrikke Brandstorp Honestly 5 Umami Tsunami Geronimo 6 Atle Pettersen Masterpiece 7 Swing’it Prohibition 8 Elsie Bay Love you in a dream 9 Alessandra Queen of kings Ulrikke took part in 2017 (4th) and 2020 (1st). Sweden: Melodifestivalen starts

The very popular Swedish national selection Melodifestivalen will start tonight. Seven songs will compete, two will head directly to the final while two other songs will go to the semifinal. The show starts at 20:00 and you can watch it here. In 2021 the group became 3rd.Victor Crone took part in 2015 and reached the 2nd chance round, together with Behrang Miri. In 2020 he became 9th. In 2019 he represented Estonia with the song “Storm”.Eva Rydberg took part in 1977 and became 7th. As a duo, Eva Rydberg and Ewa Roos reached the 2021 2nd chance round.Jon Henrik Fjällgren became 2nd in 2015, 3rd in 2017 and 4th in 2019.
