Also host country The Netherlands presented it’s entry tonight. The song is called “Birth of a new age” and is written by the singer Jeangu Macrooy himself in collaboration with Pieter Perquin, aka Perquisite.

Macrooy was supposed to represent The Netherlands last year with the song “Grow”. Dutch broadcaster Avrotros was the first one to announce that they would go for the same singer as in 2020.

Jeangu presented his song live with a zoom audience. Meanwhile, there were connections with two Dutch tv-shows, “De Vooravond” and “RTL Boulevard”.
