Already from the age of seven, she has participated in numerous musical competitions and festivals. She signed her first record contract in 2019. When Romanian producer Sickotoy released his record “You don’t love me”, Roxen was featured in this song. The song was a huge hit in the Romanian charts but also gained a lot of airplay on radio stations in other European countries and in the United States. Roxen’s first solo single “Ce-ți cântă dragostea” also hit the Romanian charts.In 2020, Roxen was supposed to represent Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest. Due to the cancellation of the contest, that didn’t happen.  In June 2020, the singer was hired as the brand ambassador for a Romanian hair color product. Among others, she performed in a commercial which prominently featured the Romanian national final entry “Storm”. In July 2020, she released the single “How to Break a Heart”. In October of the same year, Roxen scored a second number-one single on the Airplay 100 with the song “Spune-mi”. Romanian television selected Roxen to participate in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest. For this occasion she came up with the song “Amnesia”. The song was released on 4 March. Unfortunately, Roxen did not manage to qualify for the final with the song. Roxen worked together with DMNDS and Strange Fruits Music on the song “Money Money”, wich became a hit in Russia in January 2022. It was followed by “Dincolo de Marte”, a collaboration with Randi, a chart succes in Romania. “UFO”, the song that was placed behind “Amnesia” to represent Romania at Eurovision,  was also a top-ten hit in Poland. In 2012, Mandinga won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Zaleilah”. The song thus represented Romania in the contest. Reaching the final, Romania made it to a 12th place in the Grand Final of the contest. “Zaleilah” became an international hit. The follow up song of “Zaleilah” was called “Papichulo”. In 2013 they released “The Mac Mac Song”, “La Vita É Bella” and “Cinéma”. They teamed up with Ahmed Chawki and Pitbull for the single “Habibi I love you”. In March 2014 the band teamed up with Fly Project. Their single was called “Hello”. In the same year, the band took part in the show Te Cunosc De Undeva (Your Face Sounds Familiar). On 11 May 2015, a new single was released: “Adrenalina”. It was in 2016 that Elena left the band. The new lead vocalist of Mandinga was and is Bárbara Isasi. Mandinga gave it’s first concert with the new singer on March 26 of that year. The band teamed up with Erik Ikote to release a single “Aventura” in May 2016. In 2017 the band released a salsa version of the Charlie Puth song “We don’t talk anymore”. In May the song is followed by a brand new single, “Besame”. The group teamed up with Tito Nieves, Jay Lugo and Surbana for the song, “Una noche mas”. In 2018 the band released the singles “Mayores”, “Arquitectura” and “Soy de Cuba”. Barbara took part in Te Cunosc De Undeva, in some shows accompanied by the other members of the band. Barbara won the contest. In 2019 the band released the single “Provocador”. David Bryan, a founding member and the lead vocalist, hails from Newton Aycliffe in North East England. Before moving to Romania, he worked as a binman in his native town. The inception of Hotel FM dates back to 2005, sparked by Romanian composer Gabriel Băruţa. He gathered several musicians from Oradea, his hometown, to forge a new musical direction, focusing on a modern pop-rock genre that emphasized melody and innovation, hallmarks of Băruţa’s compositions. Over time, the band’s lineup featured Nicolae Vedinaş (vocals, flute), Berek Szilard (vocals), Marius Pop (guitar), Vlady Săteanu (bass), Gabi Drăgan (drums), and Sanyi Zakar (guitar). They continued to perform in Romania and Germany, celebrating the release of their promotional CD in 2006. In the realm of Eurovision, Hotel FM made a significant impact. They achieved 4th place in the Eurovision 2010 national selection final with the song “Come As One”. The lineup for this event included David Bryan (vocals), Gabriel Băruţa (guitar and backing vocals), Vicky Sava (backing vocals), Darius Neagu (drums, backing vocals), and dancers Mihuţ “Levi” Lennon and Diana Mărmăreanu. The band is named after the “Maskulinum” (Iriao-uruao), which is used as onomatopoeia for the Krimanchuli, the Georgian yodel. The group of seven (David Malazonia, Nuzgar Kavtaradze and David Japaridze were not on stage in Eurovision) was founded in 2013 by David Malazonia. It is considered the first group to combine jazz with Georgian ethnic folk. Founder David Malazonia lives in Germany, where he writes music for TV, theater and other projects. The band first appeared internationally at the Borneo Jazz Festival in Malaysia in 2014. The group was selected as the representative of Georgia for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with the song “For you”. In October 2018, they were able to perform in Moscow. A month later, David Malazonia got very seriously indured by an accident in Beijing. At just 6 years old, he learned to play the piano and pursued an artistic profile. He graduated from the Carmen Sylva Music High School in Ploiești; in 2004, he graduated with the highest grades from the classical singing section of the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where he had been admitted in 2001. He also studied baroque music. He made his professional debut on the stage of the “La Fenice” Theatre in Venice, performed on the most important stages worldwide and received numerous awards at singing competitions in cities like Barcelona, Dresden, Milan, and countries such as Monaco and San Marino. He performed at prestigious operas such as those in Lausanne, Barcelona and Potsdam. In December 2012, he approached the pop-opera music style, which combines opera with the pop music genre. As he himself recounted in the online edition of the Prahova Newspaper, Cristian Faur urged him to sing the song “It’s My Life”: “Two weeks ago, I received a message on Facebook from Cristian Faur – the composer and lyricist of the song ‘It’s My Life’ – who told me he chose me to perform his song. I listened to the song, liked it, and said: ‘Why not?’ – because I am very passionate about any kind of music.” He won the national final, becoming Romania’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 held in Malmö, Sweden. He managed to achieve the 13th place in the Grand Final. In February 2014 Cezar teamed up with the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra for a concert. On 10 April of that year he released a pop-opera album titled “The Voice of Love”. In May 2015, he became the winner of Te cunosc de undeva! (Your Face Sounds Familiar). In September of that year, he performed in the solo concert One Voice Show. Cezar and Taraful Silvian Voicu teamed up for a musical project called “Gică Petrescu…. reloaded”. They performed songs of the famous Romanian composer Gică Petrescu. In 2017 he started singing in Orff’s Carmina Burana. It became an annual event. In 2017 he took part in Te cunosc de undeva! again. This time he was the runner up. In 2018 Cezar was the host of Selecția Națională, the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. At the same time he debuted at Mozartissimo, a series of concerts with Mozart’s music. In September of that year, Cezar took part in the X-Factor UK. Cezar started 2019 with Pop Opera concerts teamed up with conductor Andrei Tudor. And he took part in Te cunosc de undeva! for a third time, this time together with Șerban Copoț. Cezar started his own singing festival FICCO (Festival International de Canto Cezar Ouatu). The first edition took place in 2020. In June 2020, during the COVID19 lockdown, Cezar gave an international online concert The Voice Of Hope. In September he participated in the reality show Ferma. In January 2021 Cezar released a new single, “Se amarsi se’”. He teamed up with David Dobrincu for the single “Perfect Symphony”, released on 8 April 2021. He also became a member of the Free Tenors with Marius Denes and Mihnea Niculescu, debuting in October of that year. Their early sound leaned towards the heavier side of hard rock, making them one of the pioneering acts of traditional heavy metal in the Romanian music scene. During this period, the band went through numerous lineup changes, which eventually led to the formation of a second Voltaj known as Voltaj 88′. This lineup also released several albums in the 1990s. By the time of their debut album in 1996, “Pericol de Moarte,” only drummer Nikki Dinescu remained from the original lineup. The album, which also featured Tavi Colen Talisman on vocals, showcased their heavy metal style and remains their only record in that genre. In 1998, the two remaining members, bass player Vali Ionescu and guitarist Gabi Constantin, recruited a new lineup with Bobby Stoica on keyboards and Călin Goia as the new vocalist. With Goia’s vocals and creative input, the group quickly gained success and popularity. They transitioned to an electronic-influenced pop-rock sound with the release of their album “Risc Maxim 2.” In 2002, Oliver Sterian joined the band as the drummer. She was born in Câmpulung, Romania, but grew up in Montreal, Canada. At the age of twelve she returned to Romania and went to  the Dinu Lipatti High School of Art in Pitești. At 13 she transferred started studying classical guitar. In 2013 she was accepted to the Faculty of Musical Interpretation at the conservatory in Bucharest, where she studied jazz. A year later, Ester Peony started composing for several Romanian artists. In 2015, she started posting cover versions of songs on Youtube. Later that year, she attained commercial success in Romania with her single “Sub aripa ta”. The song ranked at the top of the Romanian charts for several consecutive weeks. At the same time, Esther began to perform both solo and in a country-wide tour with Puya, Vescan, Doddy and Anastasia. In 2018 they released the first EP, “Dig It”, with songs mainly composed by Ester. In 2019, she won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and represented her country with the song “On a Sunday”. In november of the same year, she released the follow up “7 roses”.
