Blas Cantó once participated in the preselection of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. But for that we have to go back in time 17 years. Later he ended up in a real boy band, Auryn. Also with Auryn he did an attempt for Eurovision participation. In 2017 Blas Cantó started a solo career. His debut album reached the top spot in the charts. A logical choice for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Unfortunately it did not happen with “Universo”. Spain soon expressed renewed confidence in Blas Cantó, and this year he sings “Voy a quedarme”.
