Chanée began her career singing jazz and has performed both as a solo artist and a backup singer. In 2003, she sang on the track “Gone Away” for the soundtrack of the movie “Anja Efter Viktor,” and also on the title song for the musical film “Askepop – The Movie.” She has also performed in two cover bands, Diva2Diva and Sanne Jam.

In 2004, she joined the house band Nubian Fräuleins on the DR1 show Endelig Fredag with Amin Jensen. There, she met Kid Creole, who invited her to audition for Marvin Gaye – The Musical. Despite having no experience in musicals or acting, she got the lead role and later toured with Kid Creole and The Coconuts.

In 2010, Christina teamed up with Tomas N’Evergreen to take part in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. They won with “In A Moment Like This” and became 4th in the Grand Final. In the same year, Christina was part of the christmas album “Eldorado Jul”.

Christina Chanée released an album in 2012, with the title “Just The Beginning”. She also teamed up with Dex for the single “Stereo”.

In 2016, we saw Christina back in Melodi Grand Prix, but now as a member of the jury. Three years later Chanée and N’Evergreen performed as an interval act in Melodi Grand Prix. In the same year, Christina joined the party band Mint Condition.

Chanée has had small roles in the TV series Klovn (2005) and 2900 Happiness (2007), and in the film Smukke Mennesker (2010). She also performed as a soloist in Jan Glæsel’s Orchestra from fall 2010 to 2024.
