She was born in the city of San Marino in 1975 of a Sammarinese mother and an Italian father. She went to highschool in Rimini. Valentina Monetta began her career in 1995. She became the lead singer of the band Tiberio. She also sung in other bands like Parafunky. She organized shows around San Marino and Romagna.  In 2001 Valentina took part in the talent show Popstars. In 2002 she joined the project Charme, with which she released the single “Sharp”. In 2006 she joined 2Black with whom she released the single “Vai” in 2007, in collaboration with Papa Winnie. In 2008 she was a candidate for the internal selection to represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. However, the song “Se non ci sei tu” was not selected for the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2011 she released her first mini-album “Il mio gioco preferito” with the trio My funky Valentine. After being noticed in a club in Riccione by the then general manager of San Marino RTV Carmen Lasorella, in 2012 she was chosen by the state TV to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song “Facebook (oh oh – uh – oh oh). The lyrics had to be changed. On March 22, 2012 the definitive version of the song entitled The Social Network Song (Oh Oh-Uh-Oh Oh) was revealed. Unfortunately, Valentina did not make it to the final. On 30 January 2013 the return of Valentina Monetta was announced for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song “Crisalide (Vola)”. Dspite given among the favourites, the song failed to reach the final. In May 2013, SMTv director Carlo Romeo asked her to represent San Marino at the ESC for the third consecutive time. On 6 June 2013 the second album of the Sammarinese singer, entitled “La storia di Valentina Monetta” was officially released, including her past hits and special versions of the song Crisalide (Vola). Two weeks later she was officially reconfirmed for the third time in a row at the Eurovision Song Contest. With the song “Maybe”, she conquered the final. Meanwhile, she also teamed up with Joshua de Cadenéx and the Corale San Marino in the song “A kiss”. With a post published on her Instagram profile, the Sammarinese singer announced that she had no intention of participating in the event for the fourth time. However, she was present in 2015 as a spokesperson for the San Marino votes.  On March 12, 2017, San Marino TV announced that Valentina would return for the fourth time in the European event, this time together with Jimmie Wilson, with the song “Spirit Of The Night”. Unfortunately, they didn’t make it to the final. Born on November 25, 1983, in Vilnius, Lithuania, Andrius showed an early interest in music and went on to pursue it professionally. From a young age, Andrius Pojavis had a knack for singing which led him to play in a band named “No Hero” during his high school years. After earning his high school diploma, he relocated to Vilnius, where he balanced his passion for music with academic pursuits. He graduated with a degree in History from the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and continued his musical journey with various bands, among them Hetero, which emerged victorious in the EuroRock competition of 2006. In pursuit of a solo career, Pojavis later shifted to Ireland, where he spent a year honing his songwriting skills and crafting his own material. The year 2012 marked a significant milestone in his career as he began recording his debut album at the Massive Arts studio in Milan, Italy. His first single, “Traukiniai”, released later that year, made a significant impact. It found a place within the top twenty of the Lithuanian Singles Chart and its accompanying music video received considerable airtime on national television. Buoyed by this initial success, Pojavis went on to launch his debut album “Aštuoni”. The album was well-received in Lithuania, earning both commercial success and positive reviews from critics. His solo career took off in 2012 with the release of his debut album, ‘Aštuoni.’ This album featured the popular single “Traukiniai,” which quickly garnered attention on Lithuanian radio. Andrius achieved international fame in 2013 when he represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest. His performance of the song “Something” allowed him to qualify for the final and finish 22nd, earning Lithuania a respectable result in the competition. Following his Eurovision success, Andrius continued to create music and released his second solo album ‘7’ in 2016. One of the songs from the album, “Air Of The Place”, became a huge hit in Lithuania. Two other songs were played on BBC Radio. There was also a lot of airplay for Andrius in Spain and Italy. “Chemical reaction” was another single that lead to succes in 2017. In 2018 Andrius was able to perform in Ludwigshaven, Germany. His new EP, “Sei”, was released in April 2018. He also released a song in Italian, “L’Urgano”, followed by “Nuovo Mondo” a month later. He later started singing in Lithuanian again. On 13 April 2020, the song “Kai mes einam” was released. A year later, he released the song “Euterpei”. He was born in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. He chose his stage name as he was a fan of Waylon Jennings. In 1995 he started singing in the tv show Telekids. He signed a record contract in 1997 and was allowed to record an album in Nashville. However, it was never released. In 2001 he lived and worked in the United States for a year . He appeared in the show of his idol Waylon Jennings with whom he also worked. Jennings passed away and Bijkerk returned to the Netherlands. After his return, he sang in the bands Santa Rosa and Millstreet. Waylon joined Rachel Kramer in 2005 as the duo ‘Rachel & Waylon’ in Het Nationaal Songfestival, the Dutch national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2008 he reached the final of Holland’s Got Talent. Despite the fact he did not win, this marked his breakthrough. His first record, “Wicked way”, became a huge hit in the Netherlands. It was followed by a debut album, “Wicked ways”, in 2009. In april 2010, he won a 3FM Award as ‘best newcomer’ and a TMF Award as ‘new talent’. In october 2011, his second album “After all” followed and he won another 3FM Award, now for ‘best singer’.Together with Ilse Delange, Waylon formed The Common Linnets. They represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Calm after the storm” and became 2nd. After Eurovision, the only performance of the two together was at the Tuckerville concert in Enschede, organized by The Common Linnets. After this concert, Waylon left the band.Two solo albums followed: “Heaven after midnight” (2014) and “Seeds” (2016). Meanwhile, Waylon was a coach in The Voice of Holland. In 2018, Waylon took part in the Eurovision Song Contest again, now as a solo singer with the song “Outlaw in ’em’. He reached the final again. The song was also released on his new album, “World can wait”. A tour with the subject ‘outlaws in country music’ followed: My heroes have always been cowboys. In december 2019, Waylon released a 6th album, “Human”. During the first lockdown of COVID19, he sang a version of Willeke Alberti’s song “Samen zijn”, together with the original singer and Wibi Soerjadi.In 2022, Waylon started singing in Dutch.
