đź“· EBU Switzerland has announced Veronica Fusaro as its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria. The 28-year-old singer-songwriter from Thun will fly the Swiss flag at the 70th edition of the contest in May 2026. Swiss broadcaster SRG SSR selected Fusaro via an internal process with multiple rounds, involving both public voting and an expert jury. SRG SSR has scheduled the release of Fusaro’s Eurovision entry song for 11 March 2026. Who Is Veronica Fusaro? Veronica Fusaro is an alternative pop artist who blends pop with soul and rock influences. She first gained national attention in 2016 when she earned the Best Talent award from Swiss radio SRF 3, an early accolade in her career. Since then, Fusaro has built a reputation as a dynamic live performer, playing over 500 concerts across Switzerland and abroad. Fusaro’s song for Eurovision 2026 will premiere on 11 March 2026. The song title remains under wraps for now, but the artist has been working on a compelling performance concept. Notably, she is collaborating with renowned creative director Fredrik “Benke” Rydman on her staging. Rydman has a strong Eurovision pedigree, having directed winning performances for Sweden in 2015 and Switzerland in 2024.
