Biography
Stevan Faddy, born on September 2, 1986, in Kotor, then part of SR Montenegro within the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, is a Montenegrin musician known for his contributions as a singer, composer, and producer. He gained prominence in the early 2000s, participating in various music festivals. In 2003, he performed “Posljednja obala” at Sunčane Skale. His attempts to represent Serbia and Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest included entries in Montevizija 2005 with “Utjeha,” where he secured second place, and in 2006 with “Cipele,” achieving first place in Montevizija and third in the finals.
Following Montenegro’s declaration of independence, Faddy became the nation’s first representative at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. He won MontenegroSong 2007 with the song “Ajde, kroči” and performed in Helsinki. Despite a spirited performance, he did not advance to the final, finishing joint 22nd in the semi-final with 33 points.
After Eurovision, Faddy continued his musical career, releasing the single “Dobri ljudi” in 2008. Transitioning into composition and production, he adopted the moniker ComposiumX. Under this alias, he has contributed to various projects, including television series, fashion campaigns for brands like Calvin Klein and Tom Ford, and film scores such as the horror film “iPossessed.”
Beyond his musical endeavors, Faddy is active on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Bluesky, where he shares insights into his work and personal reflections. He identifies as a skeptic and has expressed philosophical musings in his online profiles.
