Recap First Rehearsals Day 3

Today we have watched another 9 first rehearsals at Day 3. In our opinion Greece, Iceland and Austria impressed the most, all  in a completely different way. Greece because of the graphics, Austria because of the vocals, and Iceland because of the typical but outstanding performance. Most dissapointing rehearsals: Estonia and Poland; bad act, bad vocals. San Marino, Czech Republic and Moldova had a steady first rehearsal. And Serbia surprised us…

1st Rehearsel Serbia… Can they do it vocally?

As expected, the ladies of Hurricane appear on stage in cozy romping outfits. the expectation was that the dance would make more of an impression than the singing. It didn’t. The ladies proved that they can sing quite well, and hopefully they will take a few more dance lessons. In Cooperation with: Eurovision Artists Photo Credits: EBU

1st Rehearsal Iceland, can they do it again?

Daði Freyr with band Gagnamagnið are obviously dressed in their trademark; the well-known sweater with an image in pixels. The rehearsal went smoothly, including the somewhat uncomfortable dance steps and motor skills, which is  all part of the act. Mission accomplished for Iceland. 1st Rehearsal Moldova

Natalia Gordienko takes the stage in a pearl-colored dress, which occasionally looks pink due to the lighting. She is assisted by 4 dancers in black. This makes Moldova not the first country to have 4 dancers in the lead, while the backing vocals are on tape. Natalia certainly stood out vocally, but her dancing looks a little bit static, it seems that these huge heels are  too much, as it comes to  comfortable movement. 1st Rehearsal Poland

Rafał Brzozowski appears on stage in black wearing dark sunglasses, flanked by 4 dancers in white. The visual effects, as well as the vocals and act seem messy. Poland still has some work to do. In Cooperation with Eurovision Artists Photo Credits: EBU

Austria impresses in its first rehearsal

Vincent Bueno is dressed in black with a black glitter jacket. The staging is sober and fits the song perfectly, suggesting that he is standing on a large bridge. Vocally, he more than lives up to expectations. In Cooperation with Eurovision Artists Photo Credits: EBU

1st Rehearsal Greece. Can Stefania live up to the high expectations?

Stefania is wearing a purple silver jumpsuit, which is reflected in the graphics. A spectacular show was announced in advance, and the high expectations were fully realized.                                                               Stefania appears to be floating through the city, and at first only the white clothes of the dancers can be seen. Stefania also stands up vocally very okay. In Cooperation with: Eurovision Artists Photo Credits: EBU

1st Rehearsal Czech Republic.

Benny Cristo appears in a gold bomber jacket, with bleached hair, flanked by 4 dancers. The graphics are quite busy, which apparently makes something else happen on stage. Vocally, he seems to hold back very much and not give everything. He had also announced this in advance. In Cooperation with Eurovision Artists Photo Credits: EBU

1st Rehearsal Estonia.

We see singer Uku Suviste in front of a luminous white circle, in a white shirt and loose tie. The graphics show a dark cloudy sky and lightning bolts. Typically Dutch weather. The whole act looks sober and modest. The vocals are quite unstable, especially in the low tones. In Cooperation withEurovision Artists Photo Credits: EBU
