She was born on March 27, 1993, in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where her Moldovan parents met while studying. They moved back to Moldova when she was a few months old. Lidia graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences at Moldova State University in 2015. Lidia Isac started her musical career as part of the duo Glam Girls, formed with Sasha Druc. They participated in the Moldovan national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and 2014 but didn’t make it to the final. In 2014, Lidia also took part in New Wave, a contest held in Jūrmala, Latvia. In 2015, Lidia entered the selection as a solo act and with Glam Girls, reaching the final but placing last. In 2016, she won the national selection with the song “Falling Stars” and represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden, finishing in seventeenth place in the first semi-final. In 2017, Lidia Isac appeared as a contestant in the sixth season of The Voice: la plus belle voix, the French version of The Voice. She advanced from the Blind Auditions but was eliminated in the Battle rounds. That same year, she also participated in the seventh season of the Romanian version Vocea României, where she joined Tudor Chirilă’s team but was eliminated in the Live Shows. On December 17 2018, her song “Aproape” was released. A year later, on 27 November 2019, it was followed by a new song: “Nomada”. After this, she teamded up with OZ Drive, which resulted in the song “Zabudem do zavtra”. In April 2021 Lidija started her own vocal studio in Chişinau. In October of the same year Lidia Isac gave a concert called “Chante la France!”, entirely with French songs. However, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, his family moved to their homeland, Gazakh. Chingiz’ young love for Spanish music inspired him to play the guitar. Chingiz Mustafayev took part in the Eurovision national selection in 2011. In 2013, he represented Azerbaijan at the New Wave competition in Jurmala. Chingiz, who took a stage with Polina Gagarina during the competition, finished 11th. In 2016, he participated in the Ukrainian voting contest Holos Krainy. After suspending his participation in the competition, Chingiz began to perform with the group Palmas, which he founded. They mainly perform Azerbaijani national music mixed with flamenco, rock and pop music. On March 8, 2019, it was announced that Chingiz Mustafayev would represent Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv with the song “Truth”. He reached the final and became 8th. Chingiz did not continue singing in English however, but released a couple of singles in the Azerbaijani language.
