Antigoni: From Major Label to Independent Artist Antigoni Buxton (born March 9, 1996) is a North London–raised singer-songwriter with Greek-Cypriot roots. Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest Cyprus has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 40 times since its debut in 1981. The nation’s best result came in 2018 when Eleni Foureira’s “Fuego” achieved second place in Lisbon.
