🇫🇷 Louane unveiled her Eurovision entry “Maman”

Today, March 15, 2025, during the halftime of the Six Nations rugby match between France and Scotland at the Stade de France, Louane unveiled her Eurovision entry, “Maman”. This live performance marked the official release of the song that will represent France at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.​

Louane, born Anne Peichert on November 26, 1996, in Hénin-Beaumont, France, first gained national attention as a semi-finalist on “The Voice” in 2013. She further cemented her status in French pop culture with her César Award-winning role in the 2014 film “La Famille Bélier”. Her music career boasts successful albums like “Chambre 12” and “Louane”, showcasing her versatility as both a singer and actress.​

So Louane unveiled her Eurovision entry, Maman” today. The decision to reveal “Maman” during such a high-profile sporting event underscores the significance of Eurovision in France and highlights Louane’s prominence in the French music scene.
