Biography
Kyriakos Zymboulakis and Demos van Beke both are from the Cypriot city of Famagusta. In 1992 they represented Cyprus in an international festival when they sang a song by Aristos Moschovakis. It was Moschovakis who discovered and encouraged the duet.
Kyriakos Zymboulakis is a Cypriot singer. “Mi stamatas was not his only Eurovision participation. He was a backing vocal for Evridiki back in 1994. In 1995 he released an album, “I nychta ti zoí mou talantevi”.
Demos van Beke has a Greek mother and a Dutch father. Also Van Beke has been seen as a backing vocal in 1994 for Evridiki. He still sings, and in 2014 he took part in “The Voice of Greece”.
