Norway: Melodi Grand Prix Final

The Melodi Grand Prix series have come to an end. The final will be held tonight at 19.50 CET and you can watch it here. After the first round, two songs will battle in a golden duel. These are the contestants:  1 Hammer of Thor Oda Gondrosen 2 Someone Northkid 3 Queen bees Anna-Lisa Kumoji 4 Dangerous Farida 5 Made of glass Sofie Fjellvang 6 Black flowers Frode Vassel 7 Wonders of the world Christian Ingebritsen 8 Fly Maria Mohn 9 Give that wolf a banana Subwoolfer 10 Death of us Elsie Bay   Anna-Lisa Kumoji became 4th in Melodi Grand Prix 2019.Christian Ingebritsen co-wrote the 2020 Norwegian entry, “Attention”.Maria Mohn took part in the 2020 Melodi Grand Prix semifinal, in a duet with Kim Wigaard.

Sweden: Melodifestivalen, 3rd heat (UPDATE)

The Swedish national selection Melodifestivalen will continue tonight with it’s 3rd heat. The show will start at 20.00 CET and you can watch it here. Two participants will go directly to the final, while two others will go to the semifinal (what was previously called ‘andra chancen’). These are the participants:  Cazzi Opeia, “I can’t get enough” (semifinal) Lancelot, “Lyckligt slut” Lisa Miskovsky, “Best to come” (semifinal) Tribe Friday, “Shut me up” Faith Kakembo, “Freedom” (final) Linda Bengtzing, “Fyrfaldigt hurra” Anders Bagge, “Bigger than the universe” (final)   Lisa Miskovsky became 9th in 2012.Faith Kakembo took part in the 2020 semifinals.Linda Bengtzing became 9th in 2005, 7th in 2006, 5th in 2008, 7th in 2011, semifinal in 2014, semifinal in 2016, semifinal in 2020.
