Norway: 2nd semifinal Melodi Grand Prix (update)

Tonight is the night of 2nd semifinal of the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix. You can follow the show here and here. It starts at 19.50 CET. Two times two songs will have a duel; both the winning songs will compete for 1 ticket to the final. One other song, that goes directly to the final, will be presented too. This week it will be Christian Ingebritsen singing “Wonder of the world”. The winners are in bold letters: First heat:Lily Löwe, “Bad baby” vs Steffen Jakobsen, “With me tonight” Second heat:Daniel Lukas, “Kvelertvak” vs Farida, “Dangerous” Final: Steffen Jakobsen, “With me tonight” vs Farida, “Dangerous” Christian Ingebritsen wrote and composed many songs for Melodi Grand Prix. This is the first time he sings in the contest.

Lithuania: 3rd round of Pabandom iš Naujo! (update)

Tonight the Lithuanian national final heats “Pabandom iš Naujo!” will continue with it’s 3rd heat. You can watch it here and here at 20.00 CET. 12 songs will compete; six out of them will go to one of the semifinals. The songs are: Basas Pegasas, “Ponai” Rūta Loop, “Call me from the cold” Vasha, “Nepaleidi” Geleibra, “Aš jaučiu tave” Vilija Matačiūnaitė, “Šimtas vienas” Emilija Valiukevičiūtė, “Overload” Gintarė Korsakaitė, “Fantasy eyes” Živilė Gedvilaitė, “Lioness” Monika Liu, “Sentimentai” Gebrasy, “Into your arms” Mėnulio fazė, “Give me a sign” Lolita Zero, “Not your mother” The songs and singers that go through to the final are in bold letters.   Gebrasy took part in the 2019 semifinal. In 2021 he became 2nd in the final.Lolita Zero was 4th in 2017.Rūta Loop reached the semifinals in 2018, in 2020 she reached the 4th place.Vilija Matačiūnaitė took part in 2005 (7th), 2014 (winner), 2017 (3rd heat). She represented Lithuania in the 2014 ESC but didn’t reach the final with “Attention”.Emilija Valiukevičiūtė reached the first heats in 2018 and the semifinals in 2019.Gintarė Korsakaitė took part in 2011 and 2013 (semifinal).Živilė Gedvilaitė reached the semifinal in 2018 and 2019.
