The Serbians have made their choice: six songs will head to the final of Beovizija upcoming sunday. Val represents Belarus

Val is chosen to represent Belarus in the 2020 Eurovision song contest. She will sing her entry “Da vidna”, written and composed by Val herself with Vladislav Pashkevich and Nikita Naydenov. Samira Efendi represents Azerbaijan

Public broadcaster Ictimai has confirmed that singer Samira Efendi will represent Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2020. The broadcaster selected the singer through an internal process. 5 candidates competed to represent Azerbaijan in Rotterdam: Efendi, Laman Dadasheva, Elvin Novruzov, Jabrail Rasulov and Riad Abdulov. In the end, Samira Efendi was selected based on the votes of an international group of musical experts, including music producers, authors and composers, journalists and television industry representatives. Samira is definitely dedicated to the Eurovision Song Contest, this was her 5th attempt to represent Azerbaijan. source: eurovision.tv

Tonight Belarus decides!

Tonight is the night: Belarus will select it’s song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. It will be broadcast here at 20:00 CET. You can watch it here. Twelve songs will compete. A jury of experts and televoters will decide which song will head to Rotterdam for the Eurovision Song Contest. The contestants are: NAPOLI, “Don’t let me down” Sasha Zaharik, “Rocky road” Anastasiya Malashkevich, “Invisible” CHAKRAS, “La-ley-la” Nastya Glamozda, “Burning again” Anastasiya Razvadоvskaya, “Hello” Yan Yarosh, “Fire” Angelika Pushnova, “True love” Darya Khmelnitskaya, “On fire” AURA, “Barani svajo” KeySi, “Chili pepper” VAL, “Da vidna” Napoli took part every year so far since 2014 but never won yet. Sasha Zaharik was present in 2016. Anastasiya Malashkevich took part in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. Angelika Pushnova was there in 2017. Aura was involved in the 2012 and 2019 preselections. KeySi took part last year.

Tonight, the first semifinal of Beovizija, the Serbian national final, will be held. You can watch it here at 21:00 CET. Of the twelve competing songs, six will head to the final. They will be chosen by an expert jury and the audience. The songs are: EJO, “Trag” Milica Mišić, “Kiša” Ivan Kurtić & Mistik Cello, “Sabajle” Thea Devy, “Sudnji dan” Karizma, “Ona me zna” Andrija Jo, “”Oči Meduze” Sanja Bogosavljević, “Ne puštam” Marko Marković, “Kolači” Srđan Lazić, “Duša i telo” Neda Ukraden, “Bomba” Bilja & Amvon duo, “Raj” Igor Simić, “Ples za rastanak” Ivan Kurtić took part in Beovizija in 2018 and 2019.
