Georgia: Iru sings “Echo”

Iru Khechanovi will represent Georgia with the song “Echo”. The song has been presented by Georgian broadcaster GPB today. Iru won the national selection for Georgia, The Voice Georgia 2023. Georgia took part in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in 2007. Twice, with Sofia Nizharadze in 2010 and with the band Eldrine in 2011, Georgia reached the 9th place. Unfortunately, Georgia didn’t reach the final since 2016. Hopefully, Iru will change that. Georgia will perform in the 2nd half of the 2nd semifinal. This is their song:

The Voice Georgia comes to it’s final

Tonight is the night: The Voice Georgia has it’s final. Why is that interesting for us? Well, the winner gets the ticket to Liverpool, where he or she will represent Georgia. The show starts at 19.00 CET and you can watch it here and on Facebook. In 2017, he took part in Selecția Națională 2017, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, together with Ilinca. With the song “Yodel it!”, they were able to win, so that they could represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. In the Grand Final they ended up in 7th place. A year later, Florea took part in Selecția Națională again, with a song called “Nobody told me it would hurt”. The song didn’t manage to survive the semifinals. In the same year, Florea took part in another talent show, The Four – Cei 4!.  As an actor, Florea played the role of Quasimodo in the musical Cocosatul de la Notre Dame. The play was premiered on June 22, 2018 and he did the tour in 2018 and 2019. In January 2021, Alex teamed up with Masymeno and released the song “Soare”. Entries Yodel It! She discovered singing only ten years later and immediately, in 2004, triumphed in the Dainų dainelė (Song of songs) competition. After graduating, she chose jazz music and vocal studies at the Faculty of Music of Klaipeda University. Monika later went to the USA, where she studied at the Berkeley College of music in Boston. After graduating, Monika moved to London, where she continued to compose songs. Her third album, “Melodija”, came out in 2020. In 2022, Monika Liu participated in Pabandom iš naujo!, the Lithuanian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. She won the national final and went on to represent Lithuania in the 2022 contest in Turin. At the age of 18 he returned to Poland and started studies at the Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of classical vocal music.
