Molly’s early life was spent in Anstey, Leicestershire, but she was raised in Rothley and attended Our Lady’s Convent School in Loughborough. Her first stage performances started when she was only eight years old. She pursued her interest in music by studying at Leicester College and the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey. She was associated with the British electronic music ensemble, Stunt. Their collaboration with Sash!, “Raindrops (Encore une fois)”, a mashup of “Raindrops” and “Encore une fois”, earned them recognition in 2008. Molly collaborated with Basshunter, a Swedish producer and singer/songwriter in 2009 for “I Will Learn to Love Again,” which features in his second UK album, Bass Generation. Molly released her acoustic EP, “Fly Away with Me”, on 18 December 2011. Grime artist Marger sampled one of its tracks, “Shadows,” which was subsequently released on iTunes through 360 Records. Her collaborations with Swedish producer Anders Hansson (“Beneath The Lights”) and producer Darren Styles (“Never Forget”) were launched in April 2013 and recorded in 2012 respectively. Molly was honored with the Best Urban/Pop Act at Live and Unsigned in 2012 and won Best Song at the Best of British Unsigned Music Awards in 2013. After earning recognition from BBC Introducing, Molly was approached by Guy Freeman, the executive producer and head of delegation of Eurovision for the BBC. Initially skeptical, she eventually agreed to the proposal of performing a self-composed work on a global platform. On March 3, 2014, Molly’s selection to represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with “Children of the Universe” was announced by the BBC. Molly authored the song, expressing her desire to create music that “dissolves political barriers”. Prior to the contest, she signed a record contract with Warner Music UK on April 1, 2014, and announced the release of “Children of the Universe” on April 28, 2014. Despite being one of the favorites, Molly finished 17th in the Eurovision final on May 10, 2014. Molly was invited to perform at the Glastonbury Festival on June 27, 2014. She was also recognized for her musical achievements at Leicester College with an honorary award on November 1, 2014, where she had completed a performing musician course in 2002. The next year, she collaborated with German DJ and producer Zwette for the track “Rush”, released by Spinnin’ Records and remixed by Sam Feldt. “Beneath the Lights” from her album was sampled by Kanye West’s producer Hudson Mohawke for “Shadows”. She performed at a concert named Laid Bare. She published an acoustic live performance of a new song called “Aeroplane”. After this, she kept on writing songs. In June 2019 she was part of a musical project under the name of Pages. They released an EP called “Beautiful weirdo”. In July 2021 Molly released a new solo song, “Who are you”. Hungarian National SelectionA Dal 2018 In Eurovision2018 Lisbon SongViszlát nyár (2018) Biography AWS is a Hungarian metal and post-hardcore band formed in 2006 by Bence Brucker, Dániel Kökényes, Örs Siklósi, and Áron Veress, later joined by Marcell Vaga. The band’s name is often humorously explained as an acronym for a random phrase. In the initial period the formation worked as a real high school band. The 2006 the band was linked to a school-farewell concert. This was their first public appearance. Soon after, a recording of their song “Alone” was made, but it was only released among friends. Their first major recording was a two song EP with the songs “Afterparty” and “It’s My Word”. Their raw material was published on Myspace.At the end of 2008, they were invited to perform at Budapestrocknroll. After the concert they joined the band Superbutt at two other places. These were the band’s first ever country club concerts. In early 2009, they set off for their first Transylvanian tour. In june of that year, they played their first self-organized mini-festival in Budakeszi. In mid-December, they will begin recording drums of their then-untitled first album at the Bakery studio in Érd, with Attila Horváth, the sound engineer known as the Subscribe guitarist. At the end of the year, they were invited to the BZF Talent Final on the A38 as an invited guest. In April 2011, after many years of work, the band’s first album, “Fata Morgana” was released. They won the MTV Brand: New Award for their album. Soon after the release of the album, which contained English and Hungarian songs, AWS decided to go for Hungarian Lyrics. A four-song EP called “Világposztolás” was released, with videos made for all four songs. The band made a tour with the group Road. In September 2012, the band reached another milestone with their first concert in London with the bands Depresszió, Rómeó Vérzik and Sold for Evil. In 2013 Marcell Vaga left the band and was replaced by Gergő Varga. With this line up, their second album “Égésföld” was released in 2014. A year later, they performed in London again, opening for the band Alvin és a Mókusok. Varga then decided to leave the band. They continued playing without a bassist for some time. They continued playing at concerts and released a new single “Te is félsz”. In September 2016, “Kint a vízből” the band’s third album, was released. In October, they launch a highly successful joint tour with Leander Kills. At the beginning of 2017, the band’s new bassist, Soma Schiszler, joined the band. In November, they gave four concerts in front of the Tank Trap.In 2018, the band took part in A Dal, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. As they won A Dal, they were able to represent Hungary in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Viszlát nyár” and reached the final. Two weeks later, they are giving their first solo concert on the Budapest Park stage. With the upcoming festival season and the hype surrounding the media, the band was thrilled to finish their new album. This album, “Fekete Részem”, was released in octorber 2018. AWS released their fifth studio album, “My Black Part,” on October 10 2019. In December, the video and audio material of the Madách theater concert in September were released. At the beginning of the year 2020, the band went on a solo tour, the guest was the band Useme. In February, another milestone came in the life of AWS, as they ran out of tickets for their Aquarium Great Hall concert three weeks before the event. She was born in Câmpulung, Romania, but grew up in Montreal, Canada. At the age of twelve she returned to Romania and went to the Dinu Lipatti High School of Art in Pitești. At 13 she transferred started studying classical guitar. In 2013 she was accepted to the Faculty of Musical Interpretation at the conservatory in Bucharest, where she studied jazz. A year later, Ester Peony started composing for several Romanian artists. In 2015, she started posting cover versions of songs on Youtube. Later that year, she attained commercial success in Romania with her single “Sub aripa ta”. The song ranked at the top of the Romanian charts for several consecutive weeks. At the same time, Esther began to perform both solo and in a country-wide tour with Puya, Vescan, Doddy and Anastasia. In 2018 they released the first EP, “Dig It”, with songs mainly composed by Ester. In 2019, she won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and represented her country with the song “On a Sunday”. In november of the same year, she released the follow up “7 roses”. She also featured at the HIDDN and RudeLies song “Dernière danse”. In 2020 she came up with a new song, “Me pone loca”, and in 2022 she teamed up with Sasha Lopez for the song “Tatoué”. She received her musical education at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. Srbuhi Sargsyan appeared in the music industry after participating in the first season of the Armenian X Factor, where she took the second place. In 2012, Srbuk formed her own band called Allusion. In 2014, she and Garik Papoyan performed the song “Boat”, which is one of the soundtracks of the Russian film Ljogok na mogine. In 2016, Srbuk released his debut single “Yet’e karogh yes”. In 2018, she participated in the eighth season of the TV show Voice of Ukraine, getting the fourth place. On November 30, 2018, it was announced that he would represent Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. She represented Armenia with the song “Walking out”, a song that unfortunately did not reach the final in the Eurovision Song Contest. In the same year, Srbuk released a single called “Na na na”.
