After graduating from secondary school, he trained as an industrial mechanic at an auto supplier in Troisdorf until January 2011, where he was subsequently taken on as a permanent employee. Roman learned to play the piano from his grandfather, who played the organ in church. He tried his hand at the guitar and bass. In the music group of the Neustadt secondary school, he rediscovered singing for himself. At 13, he first performed with a school music group. In 2005, he founded the band Painful Poison with two friends, where he played the drums. He was the lead singer of the metalcore band Days of Despite, founded in 2007, and of the project Three of a Kind, which he founded in 2009 with two members of his first band. He first gained wider recognition as a contestant in the fourth season of the casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” in 2007. There, he dropped out – having made it to the top 20 – due to laryngitis. However, Dieter Bohlen offered him a wildcard for the next season of the TV show in 2008. He declined in favor of his ongoing training as an industrial mechanic. With the alternative rock band Rooftop Kingdom, Lob had several appearances in the Rhineland as a singer. Lob had already unsuccessfully applied to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, together with Axel Fischer, under the name G12 P – Germany 12 Points, with the song “When the Boys Come”. In the fall of 2011, Lob applied for the casting show “Unser Star fĂĽr Baku”, the German pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, organized by ARD and ProSieben.  Even before the final, Lob was considered the favorite and ultimately prevailed. Lob won in February 2012 with the song “Standing Still”. This qualified him for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, which took place on May 26, 2012, in Baku. He also received a record contract with Universal Music. In the online charts of iTunes and Amazon, the song “Standing Still” immediately rose to the top position the day after the final of “Unser Star fĂĽr Baku”. “Standing Still” reached number 3 in the German charts and also placed in Switzerland and Austria. On April 13, Lob released his first studio album “Changes”. As a representative of one of the five largest EBU contributors, Lob was directly qualified for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. He achieved eighth place with 110 points. On March 21, 2013, Roman Lob was awarded the music prize Echo in the “Radio-Echo” category. Lob is the lead singer of the Kölschrock band StadtRand, which has existed since the beginning of 2014. From October 2016 to July 2018, he played one of the main characters of the revue as a singing soloist in the production “The One Grand Show” at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin. In November 2018, the band StadtRand released a new single, “Orjenal”. The song reached the final of TopJeck, a contest organized by Radio Köln. The song was followed by “Halver Aach” in February 2019. In October 2019, after a German tour, they released a new single and video, “Hin und widder”. In January 2020 Stadtrand released an EB, “FrĂĽndschaff”. After several live stream performances, not live due to COVID19, the band came up with a new single in October 2020: “Heimweh noh dir”, followed by “Wenn do laachs” in March 2021. On 11 March 2022 a new solo single of Roman was released: “Feels like home”. But also Stadtrand released new music, in October, “Ahle kess”. In the years 1999–2007, she attended the Jan Neruda High School, where she studied classical music and played the French horn. After her graduation, she was accepted to study medicine. However, she decided to study singingat the department of popular music at the State Conservatory in Prague. In 2010, she succeeded in the casting show Robin Hood – Cesta ke slává, which also gave her the opportunity to have her first theater experience in the lead female role of Lady Marianne in the musical Robin Hood. In 2011, Barta was accepted to the Jazz Institut Universität der KĂĽnste in Berlin. Martina Barta performed at several jazz festivals in Germany. During her time at foreign jazz workshops she had the opportunity to collaborate with musicians such as the Roy Hargrove Quintet , American drummer Gregory Hutchinson, American pianist Aaron Goldberg and others. In July 2016, after successfully completing her studies at the Jazz Institute Berlin, she participated in the Jazz in Port Townsend workshop in the USA under the leadership of the American double bassist, composer and arranger John Clayton. During her studies, Martina Barta founded her own project called “Scotch and Soda” together with jazz singer Marcus Gartschock. In the years 2012-2016, she was a guest in the band of German rocker Henning Protzmann. As part of her graduation concert at the Jazz Institute Berlin, she founded the Czech-German project “Martina Barta & her Jazz Orchestra”. In the Czech Republic, Martina has been performing as a soloist of Felix Slováček’s big band since 2011. She was also a member of the Prague funk formation Top Dream Company and collaborated with the Prague Film Orchestra. In 2015 and 2016, she participated in the “Sinatrology” project alongside Czech and foreign performers. In addition, she collaborated with his sister Kristina Bárta, who is a Czech jazz pianist and composer. In 2016, their original song “Find Peace of Mind” was awarded in the Best Jazz Composition of 2016 at the Bohemia JazzFest. On February 16, 2017, Czech Television announced that Martina Barta was going to represent the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest. She performed “My Turn” in the first semi-final. However, she did not make it to the finals. In 2018, she took part in the competition Deutschland sucht den Superstar. In July 2020, Martina Barta released her single “What a Wonderful World”. This cover version of the Louis Armstrong hit was recorded with Czech horn player Radek Baborák and Kristina Barta. A music video was produced for this in Berlin and Prague. Martina Barta lives in Berlin. Since September 2021 she has been pursuing a master’s degree in music at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, which she is expected to complete in May 2023. Already at a very young age, Luca Hänni got drum lessons. At the age of nine, he learned to play guitar and taught himself playing the piano. He rose to fame in 2012 when he won Deutschland Sucht Den Superstar. His first single “Don’t Think About Me”,  was released on May 2, 2012. The single reached gold status in Switzerland after four days and was No. 1 in the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Two weeks later, his debut album “My name is Luca” was released. It placed No. 1 in Austria and Switzerland and No. 2 in Germany. The album was awarded gold in Switzerland and Austria. A second single was released called “I will die for you”. A Swiss retail company hired Luca Hänni in June 2012 to promote his men’s underwear brand. Hännis first tour Luca Hänni & Band – Live on Tour started on October 1, 2012. Luca toured through Switzerland, Germany and Austria.In 2013, a second studio album. “Living the dream”, was released. Luca received Kids ’Choice Award as favorite star in Germany, Austria, Switzerland. The third album, “Dance until we die”, was released in 2014. It was a cooperation with the Swiss DJ Christopher S Hännis. The two single releases “I Can’t Get No Sleep” and “Good Time” also reached the charts. In November 2014, the charity song “Only One You” was released in close collaboration with the DKMS (German Bone Marrow Donor Bank).Luca Hänni’s fourth album “When we wake up” was recorded in the USA. In November 2016, Hänni presented his first own men’s fashion collection under the name SVSL. At the end of December 2018, Hänni released his first German-language single “Bei mir,” a duet with Helene Fischer. In 2019, Luca Hänni represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “She got me”. It was a huge succes, getting the 4th place for Switzerland. In spring 2020, Hänni finished third in the 13th season of Let’s Dance with the German professional dancer Christina Luft. In May of the same year he released the single “Diamant”, in June the accompanying music video appeared, in which Luft was the actress. In October 2020 Luca released his first German-language album “110 Karat”. Since November he has been a permanent member of the advice team on the TV show The Masked Singer Switzerland. In November 2020 he also competed in the VOX program Grill den Henssler.  At the beginning of April 2021, Hänni released the single “Wo warst Du?”; the same month followed by the single “Durch die Nacht”. In autumn he released the charity single “There for you” in cooperation with the Swiss Music Award. He was also a scout in the TV show Stadt, Land, Talent.
