Road to Rotterdam: Portugal

The Black Mamba’s musical career began in May 2010. Their first album was immediately quite successful in Portugal. Four years after the first album was released, a second followed, and a third in 2018. During its promotional tour, the group performed in Amsterdam, where they met an old lady who told them about her difficult life but said that “love was always by her side”. This saying inspired Pedro Tatanka to the song “Love Is on My Side” with which they will now participate in the Eurovision Song Contest.
