No winners press conferences

“This year, there will be no winners’ press conferences following the semi-finals. Instead, the winning artists will go directly to the hosts, where they will take part in a draw to determine whether they will perform in the first or second half of the final. For the past 20 years, these press conferences have contributed to the atmosphere of the contest and were seen as an important part of the journey toward securing a place in the final. It is likely that this is the way EBU wants to prevent critical questions like this:

📷 EBU Delta Goodrem will represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with her song Eclipse. SBS confirmed the news on Sunday 1 March and sent one of Australia’s biggest pop stars to Vienna for the contest’s 70th edition.
