Biography
Zoë Më, born Zoë Alina Kressler on October 6, 2000, in Basel, Switzerland, is a Swiss singer-songwriter known for her bilingual musical style.
In 2009, Zoë moved with her family to Fribourg, a city that fostered her appreciation for both German and French cultures. At the age of ten, she began writing songs, crafting a unique blend of poetic pop infused with elements of ‘chanson’. Her music often features filmic soundscapes, rich backing vocals, stirring strings, piano melodies, modern beats, and honest lyrics.
Zoë performs in both German and French, reflecting Switzerland’s linguistic diversity. She describes her style as ‘Chill Noir’, a genre she developed while traveling between Berlin and Fribourg, balancing emotion and intellect.
In 2024, Zoë’s talent garnered national recognition. She was honored with the ‘RTS Artiste Radar’ award and her single “Ok” received nationwide radio play. Her bilingual EP, “Dorienne Gris,” showcased her versatility and led to performances at prestigious events, including the Montreux Jazz Festival.
On March 5, 2025, Swiss broadcasters announced Zoë Më as Switzerland’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, to be held in her hometown of Basel. Expressing her excitement, Zoë remarked that representing Switzerland while hosting the contest is a significant honor and a surreal experience.
