Biography
Zoë Më, born Zoë Alina Kessler, is a singer and songwriter who represents Switzerland. She was born in 2000 in Basel. During her childhood, she lived in Germany for a few years. In 2009, she moved with her family to Fribourg, a city in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. She grew up there and started to take an interest in music at a young age.
As a teenager, Zoë began to write songs and sing. She taught herself how to play instruments and how to record music. She shared her first songs online, where people started to notice her work. Her music style is a mix of pop, electronic sounds, and personal lyrics. Many of her songs talk about feelings, identity, and everyday life. Her voice has a calm and dreamy quality, which fits the mood of her music.
In 2021, Zoë released her first official single. This marked the beginning of her professional music career. In the years that followed, she continued to release more songs. She built a small but loyal group of listeners, especially among young people who connected with her lyrics and sound. She also performed at small venues and cultural events in Switzerland.
Zoë writes her own songs and often works with producers to create the final sound. She is also active on social media, where she shares her creative process and stays in contact with her followers. Her posts include music clips, lyrics, behind-the-scenes photos, and thoughts about her work. This gives her audience a closer look at her life as an artist.
In 2024, Zoë Më was selected to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. In the contest she will sing “Voyage”.
