Biography
Stefan Filipović, born on January 18, 1987, in Podgorica, Montenegro, is a Montenegrin pop singer. He began his musical journey at the age of seven, performing in numerous festivals across Montenegro and beyond.
In 2006, Filipović competed in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest as part of Serbia and Montenegro, securing fourth place with the song “Za Nju.” The following year, he achieved second place in Montenegro’s national selection, MontenegroSong 2007, with “Ne Mogu Bez Tebe.” His persistence paid off in 2008 when he won MontenegroSong 2008, earning the right to represent Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest held in Belgrade. Performing “Zauvijek Volim Te,” he participated in the first semi-final but did not advance to the final, finishing 14th with 23 points.
Beyond Eurovision, Filipović has an impressive record in regional music festivals. At the Music Festival Budva, he secured fourth place in 2005 with “Ja Mogao Bih Sve,” earning the Best Debutant Award. In 2006, he achieved second place with “Šećer i Voće,” and in 2007, he won the Grand Prix with “Nebo i More.”
After his Eurovision appearance, Filipović continued his education at the Cetinje Music Academy, focusing on advancing his musical skills. Specific details about his recent activities are limited.
