Nina Žižić, born on 20 April 1985 in Nikšić, Montenegro, is a Montenegrin pop singer. She began her musical career in 2004 as a member of the girl group Negre, which participated in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest that year, finishing third. After leaving the group in 2006, she pursued a solo career, participating in Montevizija 2006 with the song “Potraži me,” where she placed 17th.
In 2013, Žižić represented Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, alongside the hip-hop duo Who See, performing the song “Igranka.” The entry placed 12th in the first semi-final with 41 points, narrowly missing qualification for the final.
Between 2013 and 2023, Montenegrin singer Nina Žižić remained active in the music industry, albeit with a lower public profile. Following her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 alongside the hip-hop duo Who See with the song “Igranka,” she continued to engage in various musical endeavors.
In 2016, Žižić contributed the song “Kiss You, Goodbye” to the Azerbaijani film “Too Many Coincidences,” showcasing her versatility as an artist.
In 2021, she served as a member of the internal jury responsible for selecting Montenegro’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, demonstrating her ongoing involvement in the country’s music scene.
After a period of relative quiet, Žižić returned to the spotlight in 2023 with the release of her single “Paranoičan,” marking her re-engagement with the music industry.
In 2024, she participated in Montesong 2024, Montenegro’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, with the song “Dobrodošli.” Although she initially finished second, she was later selected to represent Montenegro in the contest following the withdrawal of the original winners, NeonoeN, due to a rule violation.
