Early Life and Musical Influences

Daniel Zizka is a Czech singer, songwriter, and actor born in 2003 in the Czech Republic. He showed passion for music and acting from a young age. Daniel began writing his own songs at just 10 years old. By the age of 15, he had written a song that he felt confident enough to record professionally. Growing up, he always knew he wanted to pursue the arts, which led him to combine his love for music and theater.

Daniel’s education has been closely tied to his artistic interests. He studied musical theater at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague, a renowned school for modern music and performance. This training in musical performance gave him a strong foundation in singing, acting, and stage presence. Moreover, he continues to refine his craft by studying popular singing and composition. His musical style centers on pop and indie-pop, emphasizing emotional vocal expression and atmospheric soundscapes. This blend of theatrical training and pop music influence has shaped Daniel’s unique artistic identity.

Beginnings of His Music Career

Daniel’s formal music career began in his late teens. Performing under the stage name “Daniell,” he released a series of original pop singles that introduced his talent to the public. His debut single “Wrong” came out in 2019, showcasing his songwriting skills. He followed this with “Go On” and “Airplane” in 2020, as well as “AIM” in 2021. They were all recorded under his pseudonym. These early tracks helped Daniel develop a following and gain radio play for his music. His songs have been broadcast on various Czech radio stations.

As his confidence and experience grew, Daniel transitioned to performing under his real name. In 2023, he released the single “Pierrot,” followed by “Talk” in 2024. These songs continued to build his reputation in the Czech pop and indie music scene. A major milestone came in 2025, when Daniel unveiled new material from his forthcoming debut EP. On April 24, 2025, he premiered the single “23:23” live at the historic Bethlehem Chapel in Prague, accompanied by the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra. This special concert featured a full orchestra and Daniel’s band.

The collaboration also extended overseas. Daniel worked with music producers from California on his 2025 recordings, bringing an international flavor to his sound. Later in 2025, he released “Never Felt Like Less,” another atmospheric pop track that further solidified his style. Throughout these beginnings of his music career, Daniel’s focus on genuine emotion and quality production has set him apart as a rising talent in Czechia’s music scene.

He also had a guest role in the popular Czech medical drama series “Modrý kód” (Blue Code) around 20182020
