Biography
Anonymous was a pop punk band from Andorra la Vella, formed in 2004. The group comprised Niki Francesca (vocals, guitar), Alejandro Martínez (guitar), Guillem Gallego (drums), and Cristian Narvaez (bass). Influenced by bands like Blink-182 and Sum 41, they gained recognition in Andorra and parts of Spain, particularly Catalonia, through their energetic performances and demo tracks such as “I Want It All,” “Shit Sucks,” “No President at All,” and “10MIN.”
In 2007, Anonymous was internally selected by Andorran broadcaster RTVA to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki with their song “Salvem el món” (“Let’s Save the World”). The bilingual track, sung in Catalan and English, addressed themes of environmental awareness and social responsibility. During the semi-final, they performed 21st and finished 12th with 80 points, narrowly missing qualification for the final. This remains Andorra’s best result in Eurovision history.
Notably, bassist Cristian Narvaez was underage at the time and could not perform on the Eurovision stage, although he participated in pre-contest promotions and the music video.
Following their Eurovision experience, Anonymous disbanded. Lead singer Niki Francesca pursued further studies in music business and technology, earning a professional certificate in music production from Berklee College of Music. He now performs under the stage name Nick Gain.
